Default 1999 Valdipiatta Trefonti Toscana IGT

1999 Valdipiatta Trefonti Toscana IGT ***(*)

Scent of stones, chocolate, red berries, taste of broken down red fruits, turpentine, cigar. Finish like a cigar when you relit it the last time after finishing the new year fireworks.
My wife surprisingly got reminded of our tasting tour to Beaulieu Vineyards Reserve tasting in 2011 and could suddenly recite the relative location of it vs sequoia grove and the lunch place (that french laundry co-owned bistro), even though she didnt remember it when I served the Clone 4 2001 for her birthday ( I guess thats what a baby sleep deprivation does to a mother)..
Well, they tend to serve older vintages so I guess thats the key.
