Default Two 2012 Roses

I opened a couple of bottles of Rose with an assortment of grilled flatbreads and toppings...kind of like make your own pizza night last night.

2012 Charles & Charles Columbia Valley Rose-Charles Smith and Charles Bieler collaboration of Syrah, Mourvedre Rose. Pale pink, very fresh and clean with watermelon and raspberry with just a hint of fizz. Really tasty at $10. "B"

2012 Celani "Vincenza" Rose of Cabernet Napa Valley-Celani makes some pretty high-end Cabernet but this sells for about $15. Bone dry medium bodied terrific blanace showing lots of red cherry and citrus notes. "B+"

Would like to hear more Rose experiences for this spring. Always looking for more than our go to Arnot Roberts or Il Cantalupo. This year it has been Domaine de Marquilani from Corsica. Very strawberry and watermelon, good acid and low alcohol, exactly what I want from a Rosé.

Misspelled, Marquillani. It is 92% Sciaccarellu, 8% Syrah.
