Default [TN] 2011 Navarro Gewurz

Last night, faced with more hot nights, we opted to grill some jerk
chicken. With that dinner, we opened:

2011 Navarro Dry Gewurztraminer
nose: typical varietal character (roses, lychees)
palate: a bit lacking midpalate, crisp acidity, light body

Overall, not the finest rendition of this wine that we've had, but still
a very creditable CA Gewurz. Jean commented that it was much like a
Trimbach version with a bit less acid and less extract. Still, a nice
wine for a hot night (and hot food).
