Default TN: Pinot Caligula '33

um, if you took the title seriously or did not get the joke, um you
need a course in classics. pinot caligula is the afw's term for coyote
ugly but refers to any vintage or food-wine-pairing fad that is coyote
ugly. going pc now refers to going pinot caligula. a new in-group
reference for the cognoscenti of afw.

go pc or go loud or just go? pc also refers to the activity of
spawning new aphorisms for the pain and misery of being a bubulescent
nabob and oeneophiliac via afw.

let people figure it out. drawl long and exhaustively about the joys
of pinot caligula without giving any hint as to what its reference
denotes. let it be a party game. see how long it takes for those
present to figure it out.

expand on the notion. pinot palin? lebenlimbaugh? zinfandel gris?
chardonney krakatau? eau du Turner? Acqa vitalis? Merlot 2012? Our
Lady Sangria? (nostradamus pee-enhancer), mugwort-beer with a
cannabinoid finish?

sangiovese flagellati? (a red wine that turns your liver soo yellow,
the only thing you want to do to ease the pain is um, --very popular
in Iran and southern parts of Iraq on high holy days)

datura martinis? ergot ale?

Buffalo Sips? Turner Classics (a drink involving or so nasty as to
make forgotten a wife who takes off with all yer money and career and
drives ya to go raise buffalo for slaughter as a better alternative--
must inovle myriad levels of contrasting food dye within the glass).

Zhang Kai Check (a party theme and drink whereby you order it for your
friend then dash the check (go to the water closet out the front door
and keep on going) such that the friend doesn't even notice become
bothered nor remember the offense the next morning or ever.)

Osama been leben (a drink that makes you so tolerant that you take
home a man/woman that upon waking makes you wish that you were one of
osama's virgins, and not the one waking up to whatever that to which
the particular drink drove you to such a locale and allowed you to
wake up at all)

hrmm.

here is the post i hope you respond to. i am an old afw curmudgeon:

a cold saturday but spring is a coming?

don't want to drive to nurseries and risk ringing out your back, but
would like to receive some beautiful fresh ready-to-plant perennials,
bushes, flowers, bulbs to refurbish your gardens and also in doing so

help refurbish the flower beds surrounding a new york city housing
project so the elderly and disabled will enjoy watching beauty abound?
and kids too?

feel free to click on the link below and leaf thru the web-catalogue
of beautiful plants you can now buy online while cozy in your p-j's
sipping coffee or tea or your pinot caligula...

and at the proper planting time have the mailman or ups bring
beautiful ready-to-plant bushes, flowering perennials and shrubs and
bulbs and trees

to your home ready to beautify your flower beds.

we are located on the upper west side of manhattan, are surrounded by
grammar schools and are inhabited by many elderly and disabled
residents. (and protective jefes of all sorts of trades)

we are a nycha housing project of about 800 households and we (the
Wise Towers Greening and Beautification Committee) are trying to
refurbish our long-neglected flower beds.

We receive no funding from nycha for this project and Obama's stimulus
money has yet if ever to reach our gardening effort.

so, please klick on the link below and order some beautiful plants for
your own garden and in doing so help us garden too.

do so today. the best five minutes you'll spend all day.

please send this notice to all your gardening friends as well.
