I must have finished off at least a case, and very happily. When the 1975 came out, I tried a bottle with great expectation that it would be well worth the much higher price. It wasn't. The 1975 Beychevelle was, like many 75s, pretty much untouchable in it's youth.
It can now be most agreeable - a bottle I opened last month was probably the best I've had yet. I agree that it drinks well now, and there is no point in holding as it won't get any better. |
