I would look for something with less citrus and more body.

I would look to a W. Burgundy Pouilly Fuisse or St Veran for instance.

Thanks, Josh,...I mean Joe. Unfortunately, my cellar is emptied of all
French Whites at the moment, plenty of Chard. and Sav Bl.

I would try a gewürztraminer with a bit of sweetness or even a riesling.
Otherwise I'd go for beer.........
