1998 Branaire Ducru
Surprisingly open! A bit more of the leather-cedar side than fruity side,
but good-to-go right now (with lamb kabobs). I wouldn't want to keep this more than 5-6 more years. Mark S -- |

Thanks for notes. I have grudgingly decided that some '98 leftbankers are
better than I initially gave them credit for. I've enjoyed Leoville-Poyferre, du Tertre, Leoville-Barton. None of them 20+ year agers, but good midtermers. Dale Dale Williams Drop "damnspam" to reply |

1998 Branaire Ducru
Hmmm..
Yes, thanks for the notes. I purchased only 1 leftbank wine (leoville barton) from the '98's based on the opinion of WS and others, and went for Blaye, St Emillion & Pomerol wines. All untouched, but maybe I should be looking to open some up. cheers jafa "Dale Williams" > wrote in message ... > Thanks for notes.
