Clone Info

Hello group. I am interested in finding information on clones and
rootstock. I would like a resource to look up or at least understand
various clones as a friend of mine is planting vines and has given me
their specific names. I can't seem to find this info easily on the
web. Does anyone have a website to recommend me to?

Thank you.

Ryan

I don't have a website, but give the rec.crafts.winemaking newsgroup a try.
There are a number of folks there who are knowledgeable re viticulture.
Katie Gill, of Peaceful Bend Vineyards in Missouri, comes to mind.

I heard they were going to duplicate Ben & Jerry. They would be the first
ice cream clones.
