Canadian Standard for Wine Competition
I am new to the newsgroup and have a question someone should be able to help
with.... The Davis system is used in wine competitions in the US, what standard is used in Canada? Thank you Dan |

Dan-I don't know the answer to your question but I think you've made a false
assuption. I've been judging wine competitions in California, Missouri and Virginia for over 20 years. None of them formally use the Davis scale. The judges are simply asked to award Gold, Silver or Bronze medals. I've heard lots of debates over qualities of wines but never over their point value. Bob Fosteer, San Diego |
