Default Good wines recently

Just haven't formalized my notes, but 1996 Chateau Potelle zin (price
unknown, was a gift), 1999 Beringer Knight's Valley cab. sauv. (about
$25US), and 2002 Siduri Sonoma County pinot noir ($32US) are just fantastic.
That pinot is 15% alcohol and best served around 50 degrees to tame it.
Plenty of dark fruit to go with the heat, long sweet finish. The Beringer
tastes like a wine four times its cost. Very Moutony. The Potelle was not
a fruit bomb, much more austere but still with plenty of black cherry,
mocha, and smooth tannins which are already dropping well into sediment.
Not as good as the Hartford Court zins.
