Default [TN] '07 Schloss Lieser QbA

With Jean absent for several nights at a meeting, single parenting means
a sharp limitation of dining options. Tonight, Andrew and I decided
upon a dinner of cheese ravioli, so I whipped together a concotion of
the aforementioned ravioli, pesto, crumbled bacon, peas and asparagus.
With this kitchen sink cuisine I poured myself from an open bottle:

2007 Schloss Lieser Riesling QbA
nose: sulfur, peaches, stones, a hint of petrol
palate: crisp acidity, slightly off-dry, peach-lime fruit, strong minerality

Amazingly enough, this was a decent match with the food, and a lovely
wine in every respect. Although there was an initial whack of burnt
matchstick, it quickly blew off. Purchased for ~$15 during Crush's
white wine sale.
