Vino academica
I read in the Australian that Brit Andrew Jefford has been appointed as Wine
writer in residence at Adelaide University. http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au...010800,00.html I'm sure he will make a very good WWIR but obviously the Oz cultural cringe has dictated that no colonial wine writers cut the proverbial mustard. Cheers! Martin |

When Harvard invited Octavio Paz as a writer, was that a statement that no American fiction writer cut the mustard? |

But as this is the inaugural appointment I imagined it might go to a local. Cheers! Martin |
