Ridge 2007 "Three Valleys" zinfandel - any comments?
 

A local liquor store is offering this wine for $16.99/bottle,
or $15.99/bottle if you purchase a case. Should I jump in on this
offer?

Dick,
That's a decent price (as winesearcher will show you) but the 3
Valleys is Ridge's entry level Zin. To my tastes, it's overly oaky with
decent varietal character, but little to mark it as a Ridge wine a la
Geyserville or Lytton Springs. If you're looking for a ready-to-drink
BBQ or pizza Zin, this might be a smart purchase.
