[TN] 1998 Reserve du Mas
Tonight, I was celebrating the completion of a *very* lengthy manuscript
describing one of most signficant discoveries, so went down to the cellar and came up with: 1998 Mas de Gourgonnier "Reserve du Mas" Les Baux-de-Provence nose: meat!! kirsch, dust, stones palate: medium body, acidity, meat shading into bandaid territory, cheries Wow. This comes across as a fair imitation of Chateauneuf, but the Brett is almost too much, even for a Brett-tolerant person like me. Still, a lot of fun to drink on a Wed. night. Mark Lipton |
