Survived the journey, when do I go back?

Hving just returned from the Antipodes, I must say it was a truly
fantastic experience despite the occassional all day downpour (only one
day and that didn't seem to phase our intrepid St.Helier one bit)

Despite the claim by some that cruising offers such good food, and this
time we even booked the specialty restaurant, the best meal by far was
had at a local restaurant in Whangarei New Zealand called Á Deco.We
enjoyed the tasting menu and I will need to recreate the details. I do
recall the last wine a Beaumes de Venice from Chapoutier, tasty as usual
but his Lordship had already provided a more memorable sticky the night
before, a Botrysised Semillon from NZ (will try to get the details still
having first cup of coffee after a day and a half in the air).

At any rate it is good to be home and once I have figured out what I did
I will report further.

Just had a call from his Lordship, arrived at LHR at 0930. So all set up for
the France / NZ showdown on Monday night.

next time in NZ, try Southland and the Pinots of Otago.
