With "Cincinnati chili" from freezer (over barley, not pasta, trying
to use leftovers) the 2006 Gunderloch "Jean Baptiste" Riesling Kabinett (Rheinhessen). Apples and spiced pears, on the drier end of off-dry, a bit floral. Has a rather heavy feel to it (11% abv) for someone like me who mostly buys Mosel, but there is enough acidity, and it goes down smoothly. B |

B Cincinnati chili is bad enough for a Texan but over barley? Gives me shudders. |
