I know others will disagree but, given my Scots upbringing and
probably untrained palate, I do not consider paying more than
$50 for a bottle of wine in a store to be sensible for me. I
have drunk some wines beyond that price but, while they were
very good, the differences were not enough to change my mind.
Let me also say that going up to $50 is a rare event for me! I
will repeat that I am not talking about buying wine at
restaurant mark-ups.
