Default Dark and Delecious - food and wine tasting - Feb 8th, Alameda, CA.

Hi all,
If anyone in California or any travelers to the area have
a few spare hours on Feb 8th, the "Dark and Delicious"
food and wine tasting will be held at Rosenblum Cellars
in Alameda. Many wineries will have samples of Petite
Sirah paired with offerings from area chefs. I found out
about this event from an email I received from Bogle
Winery. Just a "heads up" for folks who might be in the
area.
Details on:
http://www.psiloveyou.org/

Wish I could be there because it truly sounds delicious! :-(

Excuse please, that should be "Dark and Delicious". My spell checker
doesn't check the header.

If anyone attends I'd be interested in what the chefs choose to pair
with PS. Thanks

Timing is off by a week for me but it sounds great. I will be in
Northern CA bay area the beginning of February. By the 8th I'll be in
Southern CA. Oh well.

Indeed, big meat is only thing that comes to mind for me. I know there
are some styles of PS that aren't as big (Bogle), but I did look at the
recipes on the PS org's site- Sautéed Swiss Chard with Goat Cheese and
Toasted Walnuts with Petite Sirah anyone? Yikes!
