Would you like to share you great opinions about wine here?

Hello wine lovers!

We would love it if you could share your opinions about your favorite
wineries
in the US with our visitors at http://officialwinery.com/winery/

Just locate your favorite winery (or wineries), and leave a review
about
what you think of their wines.

Your input would be extremely valuable.

If you don't see your favorite winery, just let us know here

http://officialwinery.com/contact.html

and we will include it!

Thanks for sharing your experiences!

Lets see, you want one of us to help you develop your data base and give you
leads for adding to your client portfolio.

That's pretty brazen for a first time poster here. I'm sure many of us
would help out someone we knew or someone who used a little verbal foreplay
beforehand.

I downloaded the site and your title is misleading---excuse me, you're the
official site of what association, other than your own benevolent
association? I'll pass.

Be a bit fair... The title is: >US American Winery Directory Listing
Vineyards, Tours and Wine Festival Events.

I don't see how that is misleading... maybe you can share with me how
that is misleading?

As far as "develop the database and give leads for adding to client
portfolio.. " I don't
have any idea what you are talking about. The database is already
there, If there are a couple
of wineries missing, that's possible, then don't leave your opinion, no
harm done...

If you're going to chew me out, at least be fair about it. If I made a
faux pas, by "going
against the culture" here then I'll own it and give my mea culpa's. To
be honest, I didn't
think it would be a big deal to ask people to share their opinions
about wineries if they
so wanted to....but I have been known to make a mistake or two in my
past...

Anyway, I bet you do have some good opinions about wines and wineries
you have experienced
so I'll search the group for you and see what you have written.... If
maybe I can fix my faux
pas, maybe you'll reconsider....

Anyway, I do appreciate your feedback, Thanks (not being sarcastic).

No offense taken---over the 8+years I've been posting here, I'm one of the
informal gate-keepers. In the 8 years there have been occasional attempts
to misuse the group---there are a number of people ITB on this board and
they know not to post commercial messages--some time after a post by one of
my fellow curmudgeons.

If your purpose was merely as a consumer, your request was reasonable but
you're taking ads--so it's more than a hobby.

The last wine writer I recommended Italian & California wineries to was
Robert Parker. I'm tired of being blamed for escalation of prices on
Sassicaia and certain boutiques in California after they were Parkerized.
You're on your own pal.

Would you like to share you great opinions about wine here?

The request was merely as a consumer, just wanting to allow people to
share their opinions
of wineries they have experineced in the past or would like to in the
future. Not trying
to sell anything here other than a "please share your opinion".

Yes I am taking ads to help pay for the cost of upkeeping the site, as
I am finding it
is becoming a full time job and I will need to get some help with
maintaining it. But
that ads wouldn't be directed at anyone in this forum, as it isn't an
appropriate market.

Thanks for your feedback, and sorry to hear about your role in the
escalation
of prices of Sassicaia... I was wondering who I should blame for that.
;^)
