Default Whole grain newbie.

Hello, I was pointed toward this group as I was looking for a
newsgroup or trying to get one created concerning whole grain foods. I
am pretty good with sourdough bread baking, but new to whole grains, I
just got an inexpensive grain mill and made a few loaves of whole wheat
bread and loved them. I would really like to learn more about how
sourdough unlocks vitamins in the grain, and how the fresh ground grain
is best used, compared to the white stuff I am trying to get away from.
Is this the right place? There seem to be alot of other topics I am
interested in here, though I am sorry to say I am not a vegitarian at
this time, but we (my wife and I) have flirted with the idea.
