Has anyone any good ideas Take 1 part each of diced (about 1 cm) celeriac (cerery root), potatoes, onions and fennel and stir fry them (add in this order, as the celeriac need longer to get done). Spice with salt, pepper, majoram and caraway (lots of caraway). Add the finely chopped leaves of the fennel immediately before serving. Nice both as a meal by itself or as side-dish. You can also add fennel cut in stripes to a mixed salad, with carrots, celery sticks and the like. |
