Pholourie Recipe
2 cups of ground split peas
1 tbsp. of curry powder 1 tsp. of turmeric powder 2 tsp. of baking powder 1 tsp. of minced garlic 1/4 cup of flower 1 cup of water 1 tsp. of salt 1 cup of cooking oil for deep-frying 1. Mix split peas, curry powder, garlic, turmeric, flour, salt and baking powder. 2. Add enough water so that batter is thick. 3. Heat 1 cup of cooking oil for deep-frying. 4. Use teaspoon to place drop of batter in oil to fry until slightly brown and cooked. |
