Hot cheese-stuffed Peppadew peppers
1. Soak the cocktail sticks in water for about 20 minutes. Bring a pan of water to the boil and throw in the vine leaves, leaving them to blanch for 1 minute, then drain them.
2. Drain the peppadew peppers and stuff them full of crumbled feta cheese. 3. Sandwich two stuffed peppadew peppers end to end on each vine leaf and fold in the sides, then top and bottom of the leaf to make a nice neat parcel, then skewer a drained cocktail stick through each parcel to hold it together. 4. Heat a griddle, brush it with oil and add the parcels. Grill them over a medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Remember to turn them a few times. And there you have it - delicious and easy to make. Try it! |
If you want to be fit and smart than you must avoid to eat the cheese. The excessive use of the cheese causes a health problem. For a healthy body you must eat home made food and drink fresh juices.

I enjoyed this appetizer this past Sunday. Peppadew peppers basically belongs to South Africa. They are stemmed, seeded, and pickled. The sweet flavor and the pickling process remove a majority of the heat, so they can be enjoyed by all. I have seen one new idea of using a feta cheese, cottage cheese, garlic and chives in stuffing at Sheffafoods website which taste quite well.
