Vegan (alt.food.vegan) This newsgroup exists to share ideas and issues of concern among vegans. We are always happy to share our recipes- perhaps especially with omnivores who are simply curious- or even better, accomodating a vegan guest for a meal!

Humans are, of course, "designed" to eat meat. Humans evolved as a
meat-eating species. The several predecessor hominid species also
evolved as meat-eaters.

Humans are, indeed, "designed" as a meat-eating species. We have the
teeth and the proper digestive tract. We thrive on reasonable
quantities of meat.

This is not in dispute in the scientific community. Only irrational
veggie-nazis and other Luddites deny that humans evolved as a
meat-eating species.
