"On April 9, 1991 the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine,"

The medical public relations arm of peta.

And the trillion-dollar animal foods industry has so-called
"mainstream science" in its pocket because it "donates" hundreds
of millions of dollars a year to the universities and their
research facilities as well as having its own labs and such.
The universities are also invested in the animal foods industry
in a very big way. As are many enormous charitable foundations
that donate huge sums of money to the universities and research
establishments.

From these corrupted scientists we get a distorted science of
nutrition with ludicrous assertions like the supposed necessity
of consuming dairy products to have healthy bones and teeth.

When they first came out with this "scientific fact", more than
half the people in the world consumed no dairy products at
all and had healthier bones and teeth than the Americans and
Europeans.

Not to mention the obvious scientific fact that milk is for
babies and cow's milk is for cow babies.

The scientists who work for PETA are not dominated by the
animal products industry and can do real science.

I find some of PETA's stances to be pretty silly, but that
doesn't mean that they aren't basically on the right track.

I am an herby, a pure vegetarian, an herbivore. Have been
for over 25 years. I'm pushing 60 and am healthier than
most most of the 25 year-olds I run across. Stronger,
too. I don't bother with special vitamins or follow
the dietary guidelines in the article this fellow
is responding to. I just eat whatever I feel like
as long is as it made only of plants.

No problem finding interesting things to eat. More than
95% of the food dishes in the world are herby.

One of my favorite cooking tools is a deep fat fryer.
Another is one is my barbecue.

Yes. They are not scientists in any way; they are purely a political
advocacy group.

No, they don't.

PCRM are not scientists - not even close. They're medical doctors who
are recruited to provide a shabby façade of "science" for PETA's overtly
political agenda. PCRM are food Nazis - nothing more.

They are on entirely the wrong track.

You are a self-righteous nagging windbag.
