Bohemian Tomatoes
1 (1 lb) can of tomatoes 1 cup diced celery 1 large onion chopped 1/4 cup chopped green pepper 1/4 cup margarine salt and pepper 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Mix all ingredients except breadcrumbs and place in a greased casserole. Top with crumbs and bake uncovered in a moderate oven (375F) for 1 hour or until it is cooked down and soft. From 'A Taste of Georgia' by members of the Newmann Junior Service League circa 1976 |
