Review: Adagio's Irish Breakfast & Keemun Concerto (Mao Feng)

I've been wanting the medium-sized Jenaer Mikado Gold teapot and when I saw
that the St. Patrick's Day Pot of Gold special included a free 4 oz tin of
Irish Breakfast, I figured that since I haven't really liked any Assam or
blend w/ Assam, I'd just give the tea away and keep the tin.

Of course, I had to try a cup just to see. Instead of the classic Irish
Breakfast of blended Assams, this one is labeled Ceylon with Assam and it is
GOOD. Even while I was sipping my test cup, I was thinking, "I gotta have
another cup!" and so, I did. That was followed by a 12 oz mug followed by
another 12 oz mug and I sure ain't giving this tea away to nobody, now.

(1 tsp. in 8 oz, boiling, for 3 and 3-1/2 min. was weak. For 4 min. was
perfect. At 4-1/2 min., the Assam begins to overpower the Ceylon. I didn't
try the recommended 5 min.)

The next day, I tried the Keemun Concerto, described as Mao Feng. As might
be expected, it was deep and rich with a lingering, chocolaty aftertaste,
*very* nice. I had several cups before trying to decaf it myself which lost
the deep richness and cut the chocolate by far even after increasing the
steep time by 30 sec. I found it best when brewed 1 tsp. in 8 oz, boiling,
for the recommended 5 min. Any shorter, the deepness is diminished.
