Uses for spent tea leaves?

I hate throwing away all these spent tea leaves and not doing anything
useful with them..anyone know how to, or if, you can compost them, or
if they're any good for mulch? I know that people are using spent
coffee grounds...not sure if that's just a trendy thing or not, I've
never composted before...

I spread them around in my garden. They're on the acidic side, so you
might also want to recycle egg shells, too (I pull the membranes out as
best I can and dry the shells and collect them until I have a blender
load, then powder them) unless you're putting the tea leaves on
acid-loving plants. I don't bother to compost them most of the time
since they make a good mulch.
