tea plantation or two. Are there any good ones near Taipei?

What about good places to buy tea in Taipei?

I could possibly make a trip to some other part of Taiwan as well.
Any suggestions?

There are a good number of wonderful teahouses in Taiwan (a google
search will pull up plenty.) I can highly recommend one in Taibei
itself - it's been years since I've visited, but it had a good
selection of teas and great atmosphere (it's a historic old house
tucked away in a quiet lane in the middle of the city, not far from
National Taiwan University). There's a photo of it, as well as other
local tea houses on this link:

Zitenglu (Wisteria tea house) definitely deserves a visit. If you want to
see some plantation without going to far form Taibei, you can go to Maokong,
on the hill south of the city.

say more to disturb your interest on exploring
