Default Vietnamese Imperial Indo Oolong

This is a misnomer. Identified as such by the Web it is actually a
early season green tea. It is Tung Ting style with stem of
two, three, four leaves. Three leaves are rare and I havent seen four
before. The leaves are serated with no oolong tinge. There is a
slight floral dry aroma with a weak vegetal taste that doesnt burn and
coats the throat. If you are a fan of clog the pot teas as I am you
wont be disappointed. This was a pleasant surprise as most Vietnamese
Oolongs in the store are scented. I got mine at the local tea shoppe.

Jim

PS I did a previous post where I described the mainland Ben Shan as
being Taiwan like. This is the Vietnamese version. Just a slightly
little more understated. This the best example of tea as a vegetable
as I know. Enjoy eating a stem or two.
