I just saw the Turkish/German film which has recently opened in the
USA as _The Edge of Heaven_ (original title _Auf der anderen Seite_.) It isn't *about* tea, to be honest, but it's the best movie I've seen in quite a while. To me it seems pretty close to perfect. Here's the on-topic part: You see a people drinking tea in little Turkish glasses a few times and, near the end, there's a glimpse of a woman actually picking tea leaves on a hillside, though the latter isn't even mentioned in the dialogue. /Lew --- Lew Perin / http://www.panix.com/~perin/babelcarp.html |
