Sushi (alt.food.sushi) For talking sushi. (Sashimi, wasabi, miso soup, and other elements of the sushi experience are valid topics.) Sushi is a broad topic; discussions range from preparation to methods of eating to favorite kinds to good restaurants. |

Another group with our posts...
I've stumbled on a vBulletin group on the net that contains all the postings that are on the Google group that I'm posting this on. This message will appear there as well. http://www.mombu.com/cuisine/f-sushi-and-sashimi-666/ What is the chicken and what is the egg? Is the Google group the first of this group or is this "mombu.com" the real group. I find vBulletin much easier to use than Google and it has options that will make it better as well. Anyone? |

So does mombu apparently. > I find vBulletin much easier to use than Google and it has options > that will make it better as well. > > Anyone? Yes? -- ///--- |

Google is actually a portal to a Usenet news server, something anyone can set up if they have the software and a site willing to give them a newsfeed. Google's only "value" is that they never delete anything, unlike most servers, plus they bought the old dejanews server archives, which include posts that go back to the mid-80s. Mombu? Never heard of them. There are a number of websites that copy Usenet articles and use them as search-engine honeypots, collecting errant clicks due to keyword matches so they can collect pennies from advertisers. --Blair |
