CHEMICALS USED IN CHINESE FOODS

Why do Chinese use so much MSG (Monosodium Glutamate), which has been
known to cause headaches/migraines, lethargy, sleepiness,
nausea/vomiting, stomach cramps, extreme dryness of the mouth, and many
other unhealthy side-effects?

Is this why most Chinese look so "sick"?

Also, if people claim Chinese foods are "good", why then a "food
enhancer" like MSG is needed? The use of MSG in food suggests, at the
very least, some level of dishonesty in the Chinese cooking as well as
the culture that brews such practice.
