Default shipping sweets with dairy products

Hi,
I'd like to know more information about the following shipping
senario.
Our business is based on shipping sweets. We would like to ship some
items that contains dairy products. Shipping for these items requires
refregirator temperature (not freezing temperature). the average item
is 2-5 Lb. I'd like to ship them UPS Ground instead of Next Day
shipping to save my customer $$. Will gel pack help with that? or any
other suggestion(s)
Thanks
