I am a single father with three small kids. I need more recipe for simple

thinks I can cook which kids will like and which are reasonably heal,thy.





Bubble Pizza



2 tubes Buttermilk Bisquits

2 cups spaghetti or pizza sauce

Cut each Biscuit in 4 pieces(total 80 chunks) and place in a mixing bowl.

Add 2 cups sauce and any of the following pizza

meat (cooked & drained),

olives

onions

peppers

mushrooms and etc....



Turn into greased baking pan and bake 20 min. at 325 degree's. Place

choice

of cheese on top and return to oven just till melted. Cut and eat.





Chicken Nuggets



1 egg

2 tablespoons milk

3 cups cornflakes, finely crushed

1 pound boneless chicken breast, cut into 1 or 1 1/2 inch bite-sized

pieces

cooking spray



Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Whisk eggs and milk together in a small bowl;

set aside. Place cornflake crumbs in a gallon-sized zip top bag. Dip each

chicken piece in the egg and milk mixture, then let the kids help by

shaking

the pieces in the cornflake crumb bag. Place each coated nugget on a

cookie

sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake for 15 minutes or until done. Serve

with your favorite dipping sauce. Makes 6 servings







Fun & Easy Pizza Sticks



1-11oz refrigerated bread sticks

pepperoni

shredded mozzarella cheese

1 Tbsp parmesan cheese

1 Tbsp Italian seasoning

1 Tbsp garlic powder

pizza sauce





Pre-heat oven to 350, roll out bread sticks on an ungreased cookie sheet,

lay two pepperoni on the end and sprinkle with some mozzarella cheese and

fold bread stick over and twist, then mix together parmesan, Italian

seasoning, and garlic powder and sprinkle over top of twisted bread stick.

Add more mozzarella if desired and bake for 5-8 minutes or golden brown.

Dip in heated pizza sauce.





Little Piggys



1 pkg. bun length hot dogs (cut in half)

2 Pkgs. refrigerated biscuits

8 pieces individually wrapped cheese slices (cut in half)



Wrap each hot dog piece with half of a cheese slice. Then stretch the

biscuit and wrap it around the hot dog and cheese. Cook as directed by the

biscuit package. Serve with ketchup, mustard, or BBQ sauce.







Never-Better Nachos



16 to 20 plain tortilla chips

1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Chopped olives (optional)

Cooked bacon pieces (optional)

Sliced green onion (optional)

Dairy sour cream or taco sauce



Spread tortilla chips in a single layer in a 15xl0xl-inch baking pan.

Sprinkle cheese over chips. Sprinkle with olives, bacon pieces, and green

onion, if you like. Bake in a 400 degrees. oven for 2 to 3 minutes or till

cheese melts. Transfer to a serving platter. Serve with sour cream or taco

sauce.



Microwave Directions:

Arrange tortilla chips on a microwave-safe pizza plate; sprinkle cheese

over

chips. Sprinkle with olives, bacon, and onion. Microwave on 100% power

(high) for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or till cheese melts.





Orange Julius



6 oz can frozen orange juice

1/4 cup sugar

1 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup water

10 ice cubes



Instructions:

Blend everything in a blender





P B & J Waffle Bites



4 miniature frozen waffles

1 TBS of peanut butter

1 TBS jelly

2 banana slices



Toast waffles as a connected set, then separate. For each sandwich, layer

waffle then Peanut butter, Jelly, banana and waffle top





Pigeon Poop



5 cups of peanut butter crunch cereal

3 cups of Rice Krispies

2 cups of skinny pretzels/broken in half

2 lbs. of white chocolate

2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows



Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl. Melt white chocolate in double

boiler; pour over dry ingredients and spread out on wax paper to cool.

Break

into chunks







Soft Pretzels



2 - 16 oz. loaves frozen bread dough

1 egg white, slightly beaten

1 teaspoon water

Coarse salt



Separate thawed bread into 24 - 1 1/2" balls. Roll each ball into a rope

1/2" long. Have children plan and design pretzel shapes (letters or

numerals). Put pretzels one inch apart on greased cookie sheet. Let stand

for 20 minutes and brush with combined egg white and water. Sprinkle with

coarse salt. Place a shallow pan containing 1" of boiling water on bottom

rack of oven; bake pretzels at 350 degrees on rack above water for 20

minutes or until golden brown.







Rice Krispie Bars



6 cups Kelloggs Rice Krispies

1 bag of white marshmallows

3 tablespoons butter or margarine

No-stick cooking spray



Melt the margarine in a no-stick pan and add the entire bag of

marshmallows.

Stir over medium heat until the marshmallows have completely melted. Add

Rice Krispies and mix together well. Pour mixture into a 9" x 13" pan that

has been greased or sprayed with no-stick cooking spray. Use a baggie that

has been sprayed with no-stick spray to spread and flatten mixture. Cut

into

squares when cool. Kids love making and eating these easy treats!
