Default Awesome "sticky chicken"

combine 1 jar each of apricot preserves and catalina french dressing along with 1 or 2 packages of onion soup mix. pour over bone in chicken in a deep disposeable pan. cook covered in oven at 375-400 degrees for 30-45 mins. uncover...will look pretty nasty at this point, but begin basting every 15 mins or so uncovered and will begin to darken up and get "sticky". we like it like purple black it has been basting so long. will be fall apart good. serve over rice and whalla.

I'll surely try this later over dinner with my family. Hope they will enjoy but I'll make sure it'll have an inviting look, aside from its great taste.

I used fruit to tweak the recipe. Did not have a can of chunk pineapple available, however, I did have several peaches. Cut the peaches in chunks and put into marinade. Very tasty. My family loves this recipe. Sometimes i modify with chives and a little crushed red pepper.. for a more spicy sweet flavor ....
