Pumpkin Cupcakes with Licorice Frosting
I snagged this recipe from a Trader Joe's website. At first the combo of Pumpkin and Licorice threw me off but it's actually a really good combo!

Hello friends
Pour one box of yellow cake mix into a large mixing bowl. You can also use French Vanilla or white cake mix. Add one cup of canned pumpkin, one tsp. pumpkin pie spice, 3/4 cup buttermilk, 1/3 cup vegetable oil and 4 large eggs to the cake mix. Stir the mixture until the pumpkin cupcakes batter is a uniform color and consistency. Divide the batter between 24 paper lined cupcake tin cups. Bake the pumpkin cupcakes at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of each pumpkin cupcake comes out clean.Let the pumpkin cupcakes cool completely before you begin to frost them. A hot cupcake will simply melt the frosting and create a gooey mess. Frost each cupcake with orange tinted frosting. You may also sprinkle orange decorating sugar on the pumpkin cupcakes if you desire. Push a small piece of green licorice twist into the center of each cupcake to represent the stem of the pumpkin cupcake. Thanks for all friends Have a nice day
