Default Dirt Cups The Kids Will Dig

Dirt Cups The Kids Will Dig

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Serving Size : 10 servings.
Category : Desserts

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 package instant chocolate pudding -- (4 serving size)
1 container frozen whipped topping -- thawed
1 package (16oz) cream-filled chocolate sandwich --
finely crushed
-- cookies
gummy worms and frogs or candy flowers
chopped peanuts and/or granola for --
(optional)
-- decoration

Ready, set, cook!

Prepare pudding according to the package directions. Allow the pudding
to thicken for 5 minutes, and then stir in the whipped topping and
half of the crushed cookies. Place 1 tablespoon of the remaining
crushed cookies in each of ten 9-ounce paper cups. Fill each cup three
quarters full with the pudding mixture, then top with the remaining
crushed cookies. Cover and chill for about 1 hour before serving.
Decorate on top of crushed cookies with gummy worms and frogs, or as
desired. Note: You can crush the cookies by hand or in a food
processor. To make Sand Cups, substitute vanilla pudding for the
chocolate pudding and a 12 ounce package of cream filled vanilla
sandwich cookies or vanilla wafers, finely crushed, for the chocolate
sandwich cookies. Use gummy worms and sharks and/or chopped peanuts
for decoration.
