King Crab On The Half Shell

King Crab On The Half Shell

4 cooked Alaska king crab legs in shell (about 3 pounds total), thawed if
frozen
1/4 cup butter, melted
Seasoned salt
Lemon wedges
Chopped Parsley
Sour Cream

When crab legs are completely thawed (in refrigerator), break at joints
(wear gloves). With kitchen scissors, cut down both sides of each shell;
lift off and discard upper half of shell, leaving meat on lower half. Turn
on broiler. Arrange crab legs, shell side down, in a shallow baking pan
and brush crabmeat generously with melted butter. Sprinkle with seasoned
salt to taste. Place pan in broiler (adjust height to 6 inches from heat)
and broil for 5 minutes or just until heated through. Serve several pieces
(about 1 whole leg) to each person, garnishing with lemon wedges and
sprinkling with parsley. Pass a bowl of sour cream at the table to spoon
over crab.

Serve Crab Legs with Drawn Butter with garlic or shallots. Also serve with
tomato relish.

Serves 4
