Default Chicken Paprika from the Hotel Goldener Hirsch


Chicken with Paprika

Categories: Chicken/ Poultry
Yield: 6 Servings

2 Tbsp Butter
2 Oil
2 Chicken, cut up
Salt and pepper
3 md Onion, chopped
1 Clove garlic, chopped
2 Tbsp Paprika
2 1/2 Flour
1 cup Chicken broth
2 cup Sour cream, imitation

In casserole heat butter and oil and brown chicken. Season with S&P
and remove. In remaing fat cook onions and garlic until translucent.
Add paprika and flour and cook gently, stirring 3 min. Add broth, then
sour cream stirring constantly until sauce is smoothand thickened.
Replace chicken. (At this point you can stop and continue later.
Refrigerate and inc. baking time,)Bake coveered, in preheated 350 oven
for one hour, or until tender.

Serving Ideas : Noodles or potato pancakes and salad.
