Lamb's Wool

8 Apples (Sliced)
2 quarts of Beer
1/4 cup of Butter
1 cup of Sugar
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Ginger

Mix ale, spices and sugar with 6 roasted apples (cored, peeled and
mashed) in a large warm jug. Serve in heat-proof goblets.
