I want a recipe for a type of apple cake. Apples are peeled and cut in
half. Each half is cut into a fan of this slices and the halves are
placed in a pan over a bottom layer. A mixture with almond flavoring is
poured over the top. As the cake is baked the filling rises around the
apple slices.
