Sinful Neiman Marcus Bar Cookies

Crust
1 package yellow cake mix
1 egg -- slightly beaten
1/2 cup butter -- melted
Topping
8 ounces chocolate chips
3/4 cup nuts -- chopped
8 ounces cream cheese -- softened
2 eggs -- slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pound powdered sugar
1 cup coconut -- optional

Mix crust ingredients together well. Press in bottom of 9x13"" pan. Press
in the chocolate chips and nuts. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, eggs
and vanilla. Pour over all. Bake for 1 hour and 5 minutes at 300º. If
desired, sprinkle coconut over nuts and then top with cream cheese mix.
