He said it was called the 1-1-1-(one, one ,one ) peanut butter > cookie recipe. He believe it was something like one cup flour, one cup > peanut butter and one cup of something else. > > Ring a bell? One cup of peanut butter, one cup of sugar, and 1 egg should work. This is probably better (I really like them): 1 cup peanut butter 1 cup (packed) brown sugar 1 large egg 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup (1/2 of 12 oz bag) semisweet chocolate chips Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix first five ingredients in medium bowl. Mix in chocolate chips. Using moistened hands, form generous 1 Tbsp dough for each cookie into ball. Arrange on 2 ungreased baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake cookies until puffed, golden on bottom and still soft to touch in center, about 12 minutes. Cool on sheets for 5 minutes. Transfer to racks; cool completely. Makes about 24 cookies -- Rec.food.recipes is moderated by Patricia D. Hill at . Only recipes and recipe requests are accepted for posting.
