Helen's Pressed Chocolate Cookies Helen's Spritz Dainties For Cookie Press Helen's Mom's Cookie Press Shortbread 1 cup Brown sugar ; sifted 2 cups Butter 4 cups Flour 1 teaspoon Salt 1/2 cup Cornstarch 1/2 cup Icing sugar Mix well, put in cookie press and put cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 approx 20 minutes. Cookies should not brown too much. Per Serving (excluding unknown items): 5550 Calories; 373g Fat (60.2% calories from fat); 56g Protein; 500g Carbohydrate; 15g Dietary Fiber; 993mg Cholesterol; 3763mg Sodium. Helen's Pressed Chocolate Cookies Serving Size: 72 1 cup Chocolate chips ; 6 oz 1/4 cup Butter 1/2 cup Sugar 1 Egg 1 cup Flour ; sifted 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder Preheat oven to 350 Melt chocolate chips over warm water. Remove and add butter and stir til melted. Let cool 10 minutes. Gradually blend in sugar. Beat in egg. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Stir into chocolate mixture. Press through desired disk of cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes. Helen's Spritz Dainties For Cookie Press Serving Size: 60 1 cup Soft butter 3/4 cup Brown sugar ; packed 1 Egg yolk 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla 2 1/2 Cup Flour 1 teaspoon Salt 1/8 teaspoon Baking soda Preheat oven to 375 Combine butter and brown sugar and beat til crea. Add egg yolk and vanilla and beat well. Stir together sifted flour, salt and baking soda. Blend into creamed mix. Press dough through desired disk onto ungreased cookie sheet. Brush tops with egg white, slightly beaten. Decorate. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
