Default Grilled Asparagus

Grilled Asparagus (serves 4)

Serves: 4 Active Time: 15 min

1 bunch (about 1 lb) asparagus, trimmed
1 Tbsp Wegmans Basting Oil*
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat grill on MEDIUM 10 min. Clean grill with wire brush. Using soft
cloth, coat grill grate lightly with vegetable oil. Toss asparagus and
basting oil in medium bowl; season to taste with salt and pepper. Grill
3-5 min, turning frequently, until tender.

Nutrition Info: Each serving (7 spears) contains 50 calories, 6g
carbohydrate (3g fiber), 3g protein, 2g fat (0g saturated fat), 0mg
cholesterol and 0mg sodium.


Wegmans Basting Oil. For use in braising and roasting, it contains
grape-seed oil, garlic-oil extract and freeze-dried parsley and thyme, and
it comes in a tasteful, slender 12-ounce bottle.
