Default Using Baking Mix (8) Collection


Bake It All Cherry Cobbler Mix
Bake It All Mix Chocolate Waffles
Bake It All Mix Coconut Upside-Down Coffee Cake
Bake It All Crisp Waffles

Bake It All Mix Fruit-Filled Coffee Cake


Bake It All Cherry Cobbler Mix

1 cup Bake It All Mix
1/4 cup Sugar4 teaspoons Cornstarch
1 pound Can tart red cherries -- pitted
1 Tbsp Butter or margarine
1 Tbsp Sugar
1/4 cup Milk

Put juice from cherries and
1/4 cup sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Cook until thickened. Add
cherries and butter. Pour mixture into shallow
1 quart casserole. Blend Mix and
1 Tbsp sugar. Add milk to form a soft dough. Drop by spoonfuls onto the
heated fruit mixture. Bake
15 to 20 minutes in a 425 F. oven. Serve warm with topping or whipped
cream.

Yield: 4 servings



Bake It All Mix Chocolate Waffles

2 cup Bake It All Mix -- do not pack
2 Eggs
1 cup Buttermilk Or Sour Milk
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Tbsp Shortening -- melted
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Cocoa

Beat eggs with a rotary or electric beater until frothy. Add milk, vanilla
and shortening. Stir to combine. Add Mix, soda, sugar and cocoa. Beat with
beater utnil lumps are small but batter is not smooth. Pour onto heated
waffle baker and bake.

Yield: 2-2/3 cup batter

NOTE: To make sour milk, place
1 Tbsp vinegar in measuring cup and fill to the
1 cup mark with milk.




Bake It All Mix Coconut Upside-Down Coffee Cake

2 cup Bake It All Mix -- do not pack
1/4 cup Brown Sugar -- packed
1/4 cup Pecans -- chopped
1 Egg
1/2 cup Milk -- (about)
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup Butter Or Margarine
1/3 cup Brown Sugar -- packed
1/3 cup Coconut Flakes
1 Tbsp Water

Break egg into a measuring cup and pour in milk to 3/4 cup mark. Add
vanilla. Beat well; add to Mix and
1/4 cup brown sugar. Stir until thoroughly blended. Add pecans and stir to
combine. Melt butter in an 8 by 8 by 2-inch baking pan. Add the
1/3 cup sugar, coconut, and water. Spread evenly over bottom of pan. Drop
dough by Tbsp on top of sugar mixture. Bake in a 375 F. oven about 30
minutes. Loosen cake from sides of pan with a spatula or knife. Remove
from pan immediately by inverting on a platter. Serve warm.



Bake It All Crisp Waffles

2 cup Bake it all mix*
2 Eggs
1 cup Buttermilk or sour milk**
1 Tbsp Melted shortening
1 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda

*Do not pack.
**To make sour milk, place

1 Tbsp vinegar in a measuring cup and fill to the
1 cup mark with milk.

Beat eggs with rotary or electric beater until frothy. Add milk and
shortening, stir to combine. Add Mix, sugar and baking soda and beat with
beater until lumps are small but batter is not smooth. Pour onto heated
waffle baker and bake.

Yield: 2 2/3 cup batter, about 4 servings


Bake It All Date-Apple Bread

3 cup Bake It All Mix*
1 Egg
1/4 cup Milk
1/4 cup Orange juice
1 teaspoon Grated orange peel
3/4 cup Applesauce
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Walnuts -- chopped
1 cup Dates -- chopped *Do not pack.

Combine all ingredients except Mix. Add Mix and beat to blend thoroughly.
Turn into a lightly greased 9 by 5 by 3-inch loaf pan. Bake in a 350 F.
oven, about 50 minutes. Let stand about
10 minutes, then turn out on a rack to cool. Twelve hours' storage
improves flavor and texture.


Bake It All Double Orange Cake

2 cup Bake It All Mix -- do not pack2 Eggs2/3 cup Buttermilk Or Sour Milk
1/2 cup Sugar
1/3 cup Orange Peel -- finely chopped
1/2 cup Raisins -- ground or chopped
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/3 cup Orange Juice
1/4 cup Sugar Break eggs into a bowl; beat well. Stir in buttermilk,
1/2 cup sugar, orange peel and raisins. Add Mix and soda. Beat well. Pour
into an 8 by 8 by 2-inch pan, bottom rubbed with shortening. Bake in a 350
F. oven about 30 minutes. Combine orange juice and
1/4 cup sugar, stirring to dissolve sugar. Pour over hot cake. Cool.

Yield: One 8-inch square cake NOTE: To make sour milk, place 2 teaspoons
vinegar in measuring cup and fill to 2/3 cup mark with milk.


Bake It All Family Cake

Mix 2 cup Bake It All Mix -- do not pack
3/4 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Milk
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Egg

Combine mix and sugar. Add milk and vanilla and beat until well mixed, by
hand or about 2 minutes on medium speed of electric mixer. Add egg and
continue beating until well mixed, by hand or about
1 minute on medium speed. Pour batter into an 8 by 8 by 2-inch pan, bottom
rubbed with shortening. Bake in a 375 F. oven 25 to 30 minutes. Frost
cooled cake with Orange Icing, if desired.

Yield: One 8-inch square cake



Bake It All Mix Fruit-Filled Coffee Cake

2 cup Bake it all mix -- do not pack
1 Egg
1/2 cup Milk
3 Tbsp Granulated sugar
1/2 cup Marmalade or apricot or berry jam.
1/4 cup Brown sugar -- packed
1/2 cup Raisins
1/4 Teaspoon Ground cinnamon

Break egg into bowl; beat. Add milk, Mix and granulated sugar. Mix
thoroughly. Spread
1/2 of the batter in an 8-inch round layer cake pan, bottom rubbed with
shortening. Spread marmalade over batter. Combine brown sugar, raisins and
cinnamon and sprinkle on top of marmalade. Drop remaining batter by
teaspoonfuls around outer edge of pan. Bake in a 350 F. oven 35 to 40
minutes.

Yield: One 8-inch round cake
