Default Hawaiian Ham

Hawaiian Ham

2 cups ham, cubed or strips
1 cup pineapple tidbits, drained; reserve syrup
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp Accent
3/4 tsp vinegar
2 tsp prepared mustard
1/4 cup water
1 green pepper, cut in strips
salt to taste

In a skillet, brown ham in small amount of hot fat. Drain pineapple, reserving
syrup. Mix next five ingredients. Stir in syrup and water, mixing well. Add
this mixture to the ham in skillet. Cook and stir until mixture thickens;
cover and simmer for ten minutes. Add pineapple and green pepper. Simmer 5-8
minutes, adding salt to taste. Serve with rice.
