* Exported from MasterCook * Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 c Flour 2 ts Salt 2 Eggs 5 tb Water 4 c Safflower oil 3 lb Chicken pieces Black pepper Mix flour, salt, eggs and water to make batter. Cover and let rest 20 minutes. Heat oil in deep fryer to 350 F. Heat oven to 200 F. Dip each chicken piece in batter. Fry, a few pieces at a time, in oil until crisp and brown all over.
