Default Crock Pot Beef Stew

Requested: Crock Pot Beef Stew
From: cheryl
with no tomatoes no cream of mushroom soup a very basic recipe

Crock Pot Beef Stew

Serves Eight

1 Beef Roast (can be a less expensive cut since it will get ultra tender
in the crockpot)
2 cups water
3 carrots (sliced)
1 large sweet onion
3 large potatoes (sliced)
Salt, pepper & garlic salt

Trim excess fat from roast. Rub roast with salt/pepper/garlic salt.
Optional: Insert fresh garlic cloves into roast. Put roast in crockpot
with water. Cook on high for one hour (such as in the morning while you
are getting dressed for work). Change temp to low. Let cook for eight
hours. Put in carrots, onion & potatoes. Turn crockpot back to high. Cook
till tender (probably an hour). Eat it up, yum!
